Hmmm, this is very very puzzling. Grady does not have a guilty expression, so I do not think he is responsible for the rug moving. In fact, he is sitting on the rug to keep it from getting any further from where it belongs. I think you should blame the rug. It was bad. Or it was just bored from laying around in the same spot all the time.

A few thoughts: I wonder where the little red bow is from? Any cat could easily have reversed the rug. Not all that many would bother to do so. There must have been some pressing reason. No wonder the pale ginger cat looks worn out.
