My turn! My turn!

And now at last, it is time for the story of Buddy Longwhiskers!

I was born in New Jersey, way in the south part near Pennsylvania. I lived with my momcat and my littermates, but one day, I was out advenchering and I got losted from them. Some bad teenager boy beans started being furry mean to me! They was kicking me and throwing lowd noisy firecracker things at me! Another teenager boy bean came along and he was furry brave. He tolld those boys to stop and he took me home wif him. His name was Brandon and he was my hero for saving me from those bad boys.

Brandon and I convinsed his mom bean that there howse needed an orinch kitten, even tho they had 2 other growed up cats and a big LIZARD! I followed Brandon arownd all the time, efurry day and they allways did say, "Heer comes Brandon's Buddy!" so that's how they knew my real name was Buddy!

Some troubles happend wif owr fambly and my Brandon boy had to leave me and go live wif his gramma bean and she woodn't let me come too cos she din't like cats. Then me and Brandon's mom bean went to live wif her mom bean and she let me come but she made me stay in only the one room. I was furry bord all the time - I din't have room to run arownd and play and I knockt some things down and soon the mom's mom bean din't want me there at all.

So my Brandon boy started to aks efurry one he knew if they wanted a nise cat. But no bean wanted me Finally, Brandon's frend Debra, that he only knew from the innernets, put a messij on the Feline Diabetes Message Board, aksing if ennybean wanted a nise cat. Guess wat? Somebean did! This lady bean rote to Debra and sed she was looking for a buddy for her cat. Know what his name was? Finny!! That's rite - it was my mom bean!

But my advenchering wasn't over becos, as you know, Finny and mom live in North Carolina. How do you get one orinch cat from South New Jersey alllll the way to North Carolina? It's a good thing mom knewabout the wonderful beans at IMOM.org who volunteer like efurry weekend to drive cats and dogs from shelters to there new homes.

So my first mom bean put me in my carrier, wrote "Buddy to NC" on it and packed up some foods, my speshul blanky and my favorite toys and drove me in her car to meet the first volunteer. All day I rode in cars wif diffrunt volunteers and they were all furry nise to me but all that driving in cars and being in the carrier allll day was awful.

Finally I met my speshul aunty Debra bean and she drove me to a plase ware we waited for a wile and then I met my new mom! Then we drove some more and finally we got home heer to my new howse. I stayd by myself in one bafroom for 3 weeks and mom visted me efurry day and brot me foods and soon I got to come out and meet Finny and eksplore all arownd the howse.

Now me and Finny are mostly frends and brofurs and we play a lot together. And I have lived here 3 yeers and at first I missed my Brandon boy so much that it was hard to love my new mom. But he loved me enuff to make sure that I wood have a good home and I know that he wants me to be happy for the rest of my life. And now I love my mom bean furry much and she is reelly good to me.

When mom broked her foot last yeer I took good care of her.

All About ME!!!

This post is all about me, Finnegan J. Katz!

In January, 2000 some beans found me at an apartment complex where I was living owtside. I had to eet garbij out of dumpsters and sleep owtside even in the rane and snow. The girl bean was nise and she took me to the good shelter plase called SAFE Haven for Cats and they took good care of me. I had an owie in my furrs and they cleened it up, they gave me the hoo-ha-ectomy and some owie shots too.

One day a bean stoppt in front of my cage and was talking to me a lot. She kept talking and talking to me and putting her fingers in the cage and I rubbed against them and I knew I liked her alreddy. The lady in charge sed you can open the cage and I had my chance! I walked owt of the cage and climbed rite up the lady's body and gave her a big hug wif my paws arownd her neck on bofe sides and I put my hed on her sholder and purred and purred. She hugged me back and sed "This is my cat" to the other ladies and they laffed.

So one week later I went home with my mom bean and I have been wif her ever since and I will never leave her and she will never leave me. She is the bestest mom bean effur!



This is me and Granma. She is a verry good servant to cats. She has been trained by cats allllll her life! When mom bot these curtanes wif the lase and frinj on them Granma sed "Uh-oh the cats will play wif it and rune the curtanes." But I am a gentleman cat and I woodn't do that.

Granma's mom bean was a good servant to cats too and she did allways say "In again, Finnegan?" or "Out again, Finnegan?" whenever she opened a dore and mom allways thot it wood be a good name for a cat, so wen I dopted her I tolld her I wood take it for my name.



This is me and Grampa. He finks I don't like him becos he is big and makes coffing noises in the morning. That's not wy though. I never tolld anyone but it's 'cos of the mean man bean who din't like me and was gonna put me bak owt in the snow. I do like Grampa and here's the proof. And allso Grampa says I am a devil-cat and he got the pikcher to prove it!

Grrrrrr...I'm trying to post two more pikchers but stoopid blogger won't do it. I'll try agane tomorrow.

Frisky Friday!!!

The fun cats over at Emma's Place named today Frisky Friday and put lots of fun playing pikchers on there blog! We really like that and desided to do it too - thanks for the grate idea, Emma!


A furrend of ours grows his own 'nip, so he sent us some toys to "test" to see how good they were. This is me inspecting the packaging - it ALLLL smelled like nip!

Buddy had one of the little toys - they playd good and Buddy liked tossing them up in the air, but they got losted furry fast. We think maybee they are under the fridgerater.

This was the BIG toy! It was really good for kicking, it was nise and hevvy but floppy too.

Finny allways is saying he gets the bigger toys or the more treets or first hugs from mom just 'cos he was heer first and he is ollder than me. Sometimes he is an old poop so I was trying to get him to play wif me some more. Granma looks at this pikcher and says "Buddy, cats can't DO that!" But I am furry limber and I do lots of yogas efurry day!


And sometimes you can get TOO frisky!

Sully Goes Home

The night before he left, Sully had a nice sleep on the special blanky. Poor guy had no idea what was in store for him.
The next morning, mom stuffed him in the carrier, threw a couple of treats in and loaded him in the car.



Mom handed Sully over to Miss Robin, but he wanted to eksplore...



Mom sed she was kind of sad leaving Sully behind, but she knows he will have a reelly good life.

we are berry excited to be getting a new fur-end in the nayborhood. I can't wait to meet Sully, I think he is my long lost brudder cuz we look just the same. Sully's new bean family is berry happy too!!


That's owr cousinz!!! They are Ant Ree bean's kitties! We've putted there pikchers heer befor, but just so you can see how much Sully looks like Grady, see if you can tell which is who. We hope they is going to have a real blog now 'cos they are fun guys. And hopefully they can help Sully wif a blog too.

















And this is Grady's big brofur Gilmore. Doesn't he haf the most hansome poofy tale?


Oh, Buddy's still not speaking to mom. She has been spending a lot of time wif Sully, petting him and telling him about his new fambly and how good his life will be. I'm glad he's getting a good fambly, efurrycat deserves that.

HE'S LEAVING!!!!

The little orinch punk is gettin' dopted by a frend of Ant Ree bean! I don't kno wy ennybean would want to adopt such a little punk, but I'm glad he's leaving.

Wasn't that you and Sully sitting in the bedroom window together last night when I came home?

What?!? NO WAY! Absolutely not! Me and FINNY...that's right, Finny, who I have accepted is my brother, mostly because he was here befor me and bopped me on the hed and hissed and growled at me a whole lot when I first came. Sound familiar?

Reallllly........? Because this sure looks like TWO orange cats to me. Not one orange cat and one white and beige cat.

Uhhhhmmm, mom?

Little Orinch Punk is on the Loose!

Oh you won't beleef it, fellow poodins! On Satterday morning mom let the Little Orinch Punk owt of the guest room and now he goes all over the hole house!! Mostly he wanted to look out the big window. I don't kno wy, it's the same plase to look at as from his guest room. He settled down under the cat benches (too stoopid to kno wat they're for I guess) and was watching me and Finny. Finny sniffed him and I of course, hissed and growled at him.

I'm a Lover not a Fighter...


...but I'll put my paw down when it's necessary!

Miss Bonnie hurted my feelings verry deeply wen she implied that I was being nise to Sully and that I woodn't agree wif ennyfing she said becos I allways agree wif Victor. I fink this is becos wen I was Victor's attorney during the unforchoonit insident (see May 5 & May 14) that took plase at his howse, Miss Bonnie somehow got the mistaken impression that I was accusing her of the possible crime or of framing Victor for the crime.

I have tried to apologize for this misunderstanding before (at the time that it took place) but I fear that my apology was not received in the manner it was presented. It is with my deepest and most heartfelt regret that I offer my apologies to you for any remarks I may have made that caused you to believe that I do not hold you in the highest regard.

I never had any intention of implying that a lovely, gracious, ladycat like yourself would have committed the crime that was purrpetrated at yore residence. I thought that it was evident from my final argument with the photos of cats who bear a striking physical resemblance to Victor, that my plan was to show that the crime was probably committed by an infiltrator to yore home.

I sinseerly hope that you will accept my apology and these tokens of my admiration.

Sully The Little Orinch Punk

Mom sez Sully plays fetch. I say so what? Is he a drooler?

Sully got out of his room and came downstares to look out the big window. We sniffed each other, but I din't hiss at him or swat him this time.

Then he eksplored arownd a little bit and Buddy wasn't too happy about that.

He went in my speshul hidey plase behind the couch. I tolld him he better get out of there and go back where he blongs.

Updates

We hope efurrycat and efurrybean had a nice 4th of July. We were home alone most of the daytime 'cos mom wented to meet Grandma, Grampa and Ant Ree bean and eat lunch. We got 3 measly treats before she left. Why do beans get lunch and cats don't?

They saw this great big chair! How many cats do you think could snuggle up in it?

Ant Ree has a friend bean who might adopt Sully! He's ok, I guess. He stays in the guest room and mom goes in and visits him and she did sleep in there a couple of nights. Me and Buddy have bofe met him, I don't think he's so bad, but Buddy really doesn't like him. He won't tell me why, he just hisses and growls and says "Make that orinch punk go away!!"

Mom sez Sully is just a baby cat (even though he's 2 yeers old) and he just wants to play. I'm not reddy to play wif him yet, but I'm thinking about it. She tells him that I am in charge and he has to respeck me. That's what I've tolld him too, I guess mom thinks I am hissing and growling and swatting at him just for fun. Beans - when will they learn our languige?
