The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the "apex predator", can still fall victim to implemented "team work" strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and "survival of the pack mentality" bred into the canines.
See the remarkable photograph below - courtesy of Nature Magazine. Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from thrashing. The third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the gator."

You hads me going fur a minit there! Yup, that gator looks dangerous, but them woofies haf got the best of it.
We watched sumfin on Aminal Planet where a guy catched a gator (his job) that was buggin peeps werkin on railroad tracks next to the gator's ditch. It was the biggest gator he'd efur catched an was in grate shape.
The next day, the peeps called him to ask why he hadn't catched the gator. He wented back, an there was ANOTHER ONE, efun bigger. THIS one was ugly wif scars an stuff. He thot the firstest one was once in a lifetime. Ha!
PS I's glad I don't lif in Flowerida wif all them gators. Purrs!
