Going to see Grandpa, Skeezy & lots of old furiends

I haven't been feeling furry well for a few days now and this morning Mom and my nice v.e.t. helped me to begin my journey to Rainbow Bridge. I've been fighting the megacolon problem for a couple of years, but I got really tired of the medisins and feeling crummy alot of the time so I decided it was time to go.

Mom, Ant Marjie, Ant Ree and my good Grandma were there with me, giving me lots of hugs and kisses and messijs for Grampa and all of our fambly cats who have gone ahead.

I know Mom and the rest of the beans will miss me, but Buddy and Jazzy and Cuzzin Cavalli and efen the woofie Callie will take care of them reely good.

Once I have a nice long ride on my good Grampa's shoulders and see my little sis Daisy, I'm going to start looking around for Skeezix and Kismet and Fat Eric and Miss Sanjee and sooooo many other furiends who have gone ahead.

I'll see you all someday!

Love & hugs & purrs,
Finnegan J. Katz

Oh, Finny, this makes us sad too. But you know, you'll have lots of friends over there. When you can, say hello to my bro Russell--he is a blast to play with.

Hugs and purrs to your family while they get used to your having flown away.

It is hard for them to let us go even when we've told them it's OK. We will send massive purrs of healing their way. Run, jump and play in the catnip fields and amongst the stars. Sometimes all the medicine and veterinary visits just become too much. When one is tired, one has to sleep. Maybe you'll see my friend, Bear-Bear. If you do, tell him he's missed, as you will be. Godspeed, Finnegan.

My peeps tell me that Heaven really is a beautiful, wonderful place, filled with love. Everyone loves one another, there. No one is ever mean or unkind. There is no pain. Physical ailments simply do not exist. Peep #1 says there is even nip. Vast fields of nip in which to run and play. And, most importantly, all our friends and family who have gone there, before us.

We're all gonna miss you a lot, my friend, but some day, in the distant future, we WILL all meet again.

Purrs,
Nissy

We came by to speak to Mum about her Bootsie auction win but saw this post and had to stop by and offer our condolences. I wish you hadn't gone - it hurts our hearts so much when you guys leave.

It looks as though you fought bravely, but the medicine and stuffs gets a bit much - right? Please, send my love to Dash Kitten when you reach the Bridge, if you have time and know your Mum and family will miss you and never forget you.

All our best love,
Marjorie, Harvey, Miranda and Silver
