Buddy's Big Adventure

Holy shamolieeees!! You won't beleef what happend tonite! Me and Buddy were watching out the big back door window, which mom had opend becos it is so nice out. Mom looked over and saw that not only was Bernard (our wild bunny friend) out there, but he had a friend with him too!

Or maybe it was Mrs. Bernard, we don't know for sure. Mom tookt a pikcher of them, but as usual, it was throo the screen so it din't look verry good. Then they kind of hopped away. So mom went and got some baby carrots and opend the screen door just a little to put her arm owt and throw the carrots out there. And guess what??? Buddy shoved his nose throo and then his body and he was outside!!!

Buddy didn't try to go after Bernard or Mrs. Bernard, he just ate some grass, ran over to the neighbor's door and ate some grass there too. Mom was so bizzy following Buddy, she din't even notice me come out the screen door too! I rolld and rolld on the cement, it felt soooooo good to scritch my dead furrs out.

Mrs. Bernard saw Buddy and she quickly went and hid in the bushes, but Bernard kept eating grass and pretending like he din't see Buddy. I think he was very brave. But then, Buddy noticed Bernard and he went ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM chasing after Bernard!!! He ran so fast and his tail was all flooofed up!! Bernard ran reely fast too! Then mom ran fast into the house and scooped me up on the way and made me come in. Then she grabbed the can of treets and ran out the front door to look for Buddy.

Mom thot Buddy would be way far away from our house or maybe even losted and she was furry worryd. And she was worryd about Bernard too. She din't see Bernard at all, but Buddy was just hanging out eating some grass with his tail still floofy. And there were some birdies swooping around and saying rood things to Buddy. So mom just scooped him up and brot him in the house. And that was the end of Buddy's Big Adventure Chasing Bernard. Now mom is worryd that Bernard was so scared he mite not find his way home to Mrs. Bernard and what if he doesn't come bak to eat the carrots and the nice grass that grows from the bird seed.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Love and Sadness

Mom came home from work tonite and hugged me and Buddy very tight. Then she told us that our friend Silas had to go ahead to the Bridge to be with his brother Fergus, who went to the Bridge on January 12. The brothers were verry good friends and loved each other so much. Please visit Caturday and share a healing thought or purrayer with the beans and kitties left behind.

Mom says she doesn’t really understand why kitties have to die so young, but she likes this poem and this story about why beans choose tears. The Loving Ones

Poor Wet Cat!

Lookit this pore wet cat. Mom sed she saw him at the MS Walk and there was somebean rite next to him wif an umbrella but they woodn't let him get under it.

Then he went by some other beans and they woodn't let him under there 'brella either. Mean beans!


And this drooler was getting wet too but he din't seem to care - mom sed she even saw him rolling over in the wet grass. More proof that droolers are just plain dumb.

Words & Pikchers

Our friend Derby tagged us to tell what our 5 favrit new blogging werds are, so we thot and thot about it and we decided these are our favrit new werds!

1) Squillions - first used by William of Mass Destruction and also by Kukka-Maria - means lots and lots and lots of somefing - like squillions of treats is how many we should get efurry day!
2) Happy Toes - our mom also calls this Starfish Paws or Making Biscuits, but we believe that Happy Toes was invented by the Calico Girls
3) Wildlife Watch - much more exciting and descriptive than "watching birdies" - credit to Timothy Dickens
4) Stinky Goodness - we first heard this from Psychokitty Max - yummmmmy wet foods!
5) Binkies Baby! Even though we've never seen our wild friend Bernard the Bunny do it, we like this to describe what bunnies do when they are happy! We hope someday we will see Bernard do it, because we want him to be happy.

The weird thing - mom sez it is called 'Wool E Bull' and is the mascot for the baseball team she wented to see. He jumps around and acts goofy and visits wif the little beans.

They were happy they winned the game so they made all these fireyworks come in the sky!
Since mom din't know what Knightly Lizzie & Firenze's mom looked like, she made this little sign to help find her. But poor Miss Amy had herted her hand and had the terrible day, so she din't get there 'til real late and then had mom's phone number rong and she felt bad, so she went home to let the kitties take care of her. Mom sez they will meet another time. Feel bettter, Miss Amy!


Mom is walking in the MS Walk on Saturday and she sez to tell yore beans to see if there is an MS Walk in yore town and they could walk too. Other beans from work are walking too, they have these signs all around her office. Happy walking, Mom!!

Mom beans getting together?

We have intercepted emails between our mom bean and the Monsters' mom bean that tell about the moms going to a "baseball game" together tonite! What if they talk abowt more ways to torcher cats? Or taking away our stinky goodness? And what's a baseball game? I have never herd of cats playing this game so I am suspishus.

Things are tough all over

From a friend in farm country....


I live on a farm and times are pretty hard as the area I live in is considered economically depressed. It's so bad, that I've heard some of our neighbors were having a hard time making ends meet. This morning, I woke up to hear a knock at the door. When I went to answer
the door -- this is the sad sight that I saw. It just about broke my heart...!!

miaow! miaow! I have discovered that, although one may be able to wedge his body through the gap behind the stove and into that little drawer filled with pots and pans, the reverse path is slightly more difficult to navigate.

ssssroww! I believe that I have found a woodchuck. I shall now act terribly brave.

Bernard the Wild Bunny

Yesterday morning wen we came downstares Buddy ran over to the big back door window and guess who was out there?? It was Bernard, our wild Bunny!!! Mom even gotted this pikcher of him, and another one too, but it was verry blurry cos he was hopping. Isn't he cute? Mom sez he must like the green stuff that is growing from the bird seeds that the birdies didn't eat. She is even going to put out some carrots for him tonite! We will keep trying to get better pikchers.

Washing Lessons

Why oh why do beans have to take pikchers of cats taking baths? Doesn't she know how rood that is? Bad enuff she was watching me, but taking pikchers?
